Water Splash – with FujiFilm X-E1

Your camera takes great pictures! A phrase all photographers loathe. We know you mean well and are paying us a compliment, but its the photographer and his team who make great photos, the camera is simply a tool. That doesn’t mean that the camera isn’t important, because it is, very important! You just have to learn to use it.

The photo below was shot using the FujiFilm X-E1 not a DSLR.  And I had 2 Westcott Monolights with a reflector-grid combo on each.

My settings on the camera were 1/125th, F/4 at ISO: 200

Using these same settings on a DSLR or point and shoot (where you can control Shutter, Aperture and ISO) will yield the same results.
